The Dai Ho Chun Distinguished Chair in the UH Manoa Colleges of Arts & Sciences presents a free book signing/reception and public lecture by Christopher Newfield on the topic, “Have We Wrecked Public Universities? If So, How Do We Fix Them?”

Newfield will speak about his new book, about the post-2008 struggles of public universities to rebuild their social missions, titled The Great Mistake: How We Wrecked Public Universities and How We Can Fix Them.
